Buckle Up
LESSON OVERVIEW
you went too quick if you didn't hear the click
Whether traveling near or far, you always need to buckle your seat belt. Everyone in the car needs to have their seat belts on before the car can start to move. To put on your seat belt, take the strap from your shoulder and click it in at your side. Remember, the strap goes in front of your body to keep you safe. You don’t want to end up like mashed potatoes, so never tuck the strap behind your back. The buckle makes a “click” sound when you put it on just right. Remember, you went too quick, if you didn’t hear the CLICK! You need to wear your seat belt during the entire car ride. Never take off your seat belt while the car is moving. Once you arrive at your destination, you can take off your seat belt with the driver’s permission.
