Participants can pre-register online for the Fun in the Sun Color Run through June 5th at 5pm with special discounted pre-registration pricing. 

On site registration with standard Day of Event pricing will also be available at the event on Saturday, June 6th from 7:30am-10:00am for those who want to register the day of the event. 

Registration includes participation in the Fun in the Sun Color Run on the 1 Mile or 5K course and a race bib. 

All children ages 2 and up must be registered and wearing or clearly displaying a valid race bib in order to enter the race course. This policy is in place for the safety of all participants, as race bibs allow our team to quickly identify individuals on the course in the event of an emergency. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe while having fun!

The color powder used at this event is certified non-toxic and free of heavy metals. The colorful powders are made from a combination of cornstarch, baking soda, and food-safe dyes. Some participants may choose to wear sunglasses or goggles to protect their eyes, and a bandana or mask to cover to avoid color dust. 

The color will mostly wash out of your clothing.  The sooner you wash, the better! It’s best to wear clothing you want to get colorful. We recommend bringing a towel to sit on during your ride home.  

This is a fun event open to walkers or runners of all capabilities. You do not have to be a seasoned runner to register.  The Fun in the Sun Color Run is open to adults, children, families, and teams of all abilities!

For the safety of the walking and running participants, participants with animal friends will be asked to start in a separate heat. Participants with animal friends will run a different race course that avoids areas at the venue where dogs are not permitted. 

Bag storage and lockers will not be available on site at the event.  We recommend leaving your personal belongings with a non-participant. 

Family and friends are encouraged to attend the finish line luau and even participate in a group color toss!  We will have additional color packs for purchase on a first come, first served basis at the event. 

Yes! You can bring a stroller on the 1-Mile or 5K course.  For the safety of all participants, please plan to start the race towards the “back of the pack.”  Remember, your stroller will get colorful!
