The Lil’ Iguana’s Children’s Safety Foundation (LICSF) is an innovative non-profit foundation that uses award-winning prevention programs that have saved children from abduction, sexual abuse, child predators, and serious accidental injuries over the past 20 years. This is achieved through proactive, music-based programs that are designed specifically for children ages 2 through 8. The LICSF has been featured in national publications/national programming, enthusiastically endorsed by safety-officer leagues, acclaimed universities and higher-education institutions, head start programs, and hundreds of schools, child care facilities, police departments, and parenting groups.

The Lil’ Iguana’s Children’s Safety Foundation is seeking an Fundraising Coordinator to join our team and help the Foundation continue to grow and strengthen its presence throughout New England.

A primary goal is to reinforce existing relationships as well as cultivate new ones to secure and sustain sponsorship, support, and advertisements to fund our educational programming.

Fundraising Coordinators will develop and maintain a lead and follow-up system for securing sponsorships through cold calling and business referrals. Candidates must have excellent communication and organization skills.

Flexible hours and work from home option. This is a commission-based position with no limit on earnings.

event bookings

The Lil’ Iguana’s Children’s Safety Foundation is currently seeking event coordinators to book in-classroom programs and live stage show performances throughout New England.  Event Coordinators may secure bookings at  child care facilities, elementary schools, community events, etc.

This is a commission-based position with the ability to work from home.

stage show performers

The Lil’ Iguana’s Children’s Safety Foundation is currently seeking mature male and female performers between the ages of 16-26 to help present our Lil’ Iguana Live Stage Shows throughout the New England area.  Performers must be comfortable performing on stage in front of crowds of adults and children.  This includes engaging members of the audience by moving back and forth across the stage confidently.  The stage show is a musical performance, and the performer must be comfortable lip-syncing or singing to a pre-recorded back-up track.  Stage shows consist of six pre-recorded songs teaching six unique safety lessons.  These songs are prefaced with a skit relating to these safety messages.  Stage shows run about 45-minutes in length.  Performers must be able to deliver a continuously high-energy performance for the 45-minute show duration.

After the interview process is complete, performers will attend at least 5 rehearsal practices before they are booked in performances.  Performers must also attend a stage show performance in order to take notes on how other performers use the stage and engage the audience.

costume character performers

The Lil’ Iguana’s Children’s Safety Foundation is currently seeking costume character performers to attend Meet & Greet appearances and to present our Lil’ Iguana Live Stage Shows throughout the New England area.

Meet & Greets consist of meeting Lil’ Iguana fans at community events.  Costume characters should be comfortable engaging with fans at the events through high fives, hugs, autographs, etc.

Costume Characters must be comfortable performing on stage inside the Lil’ Iguana costume.  Costume Characters must be able to deliver a high-energy performance continuously for the 45-minute show.  This includes engaging members of the audience by moving back and forth across the stage confidently inside the costume.  Characters must not appear awkward or uncomfortable while performing onstage.  The stage show is a musical performance so costume characters must be comfortable dancing along to the music in the show.  Stage shows consist of six pre-recorded songs teaching six unique safety lessons.  These songs are prefaced with a skit relating to these safety messages.  Stage shows run about 45-minutes in length.
