Breathing Wand

Whenever you get upset, it is best to take a deep breath, hold it in for a few seconds, and then let out a big exhale. Focus on being aware of what you are feeling in the moment, without worry. Practicing mindfulness involves meditation, guided imagery, and finding other items to help put your mind and body at peace, reducing overall stress.

SUPPLIES

  • Stick or paper towel rolls

  • Stickers

  • Tape or Glue

  • Some streamers

  • Ribbons 

  • Paints or other supplies

DIRECTIONS

Step 1 :
Cut a small strip off the top of one toilet paper roll

Step 2 :
Glue or tape it to the top of the cut toilet paper roll in the shape of an arch. If you are using a stick, cut a piece of paper and tape it to the top of the stick to make a wand

Step 3 :
Glue or tape streamers or ribbons to the arch and decorate the wand

Step 4 :
Add stickers, paint, and any other kinds of decorations

Step 5 :
Now breathe out and focus on moving the ribbons to make the breathing wand work. Enjoy!
